Our shelves are stocked with overstock, shelf pulls, open-box items, and customer returns from big-name retailers. Stuff that would otherwise sit in a warehouse or end up in a landfill ends up here instead, at a fraction of the price.
The same brand-name products you’d see at a big-box store. Inventory rotates constantly, so no two visits look alike. Recent shelves have held things like:
Every item is different, so look before you buy.
Never opened, still in the original packaging.
Opened, but unused or barely used.
Sent back for any number of reasons, from “wrong color” to “changed my mind.”
Sold exactly as you see it, quirks included.
We don’t have a set restock day, which means there’s no wrong day to stop in. Follow us on Facebook (opens in a new tab) to see what just landed.
Why we exist: a nonprofit workforce program
You get a deal; someone else gets a fresh start.
The Come Up is a nonprofit workforce-development program in Maplewood, Minnesota. Every person working here is building real job skills: retail, inventory, customer service, product photography, and showing up every day for a team that’s counting on them.
Many of them are rebuilding after a rough stretch, and a fair shot at a first job can change everything. Every purchase helps fund that shot. You get a deal; someone else gets a fresh start. Not a bad trade.
The Come Up is a program of Alpha Human Services, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
